This project was started from my previous project with the same name for Mac OSX.
The switch fixed the issue. So I’m going to assume that it didn’t cause the issue, but rather that it has something to do with the shutdown.
I just noticed this on your profile:
MobaLinux is not a community driven project: it was created by me alone, based on my previous successful oslinux project with big contributions from the oslinux community.
Does that mean that the version released on this page doesn’t have any community help?
Also, from the same profile:
You can use the GIT repository
I’m just trying to figure out if this project is completely separated from the source tree that has the first version of “oslinux” that I put up on my personal website.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by “smoke and mirrors” but I would say it’s unlikely that “oslinux” was brought to where it’s at right now by a single developer.
I don’t see any documentation on the source site. This means that it’s not open source.
Can you explain what this means? And also, did you know that the site was hacked? I noticed that the “oslinux” link was changed to point to a website that isn’t even based on the same programming language as oslinux.
Yeah, I could have been more clear. I don’t understand the purpose of basing the root directory of an open source project on a “for dummies” section. This doesn’t make any sense to me.
And I don’t understand why the project was updated from 0.1 to 0.13. If someone put in work on updating the documentation, what happened to that work?
