Creating a Standard Photoshop Document

Photoshop uses the term _standard document_ to refer to files that have been saved as a Photoshop.psd file. It’s common to create a series of standard documents and then add layers to these standard documents. Figure 19-4 shows a typical example of a standard document. I’ll outline these concepts in the next sections.

**Figure 19-4:** A simple document for a coffee photo.

1. Create a new document. The image window is shown in Figure 19-4. Choose File⇒ New to create a new document.

2. Add layers. You can place multiple types of layers on your documents. Layers work with layers of the same type and one layer of different type to create a composite image.

You can create layers by pressing Shift+Ctrl+N (Windows) or Shift+⌘+N (Mac) to create a new layer. When you create a new layer, a ghost layer appears in the document at the same time. You can choose a layer from the Layers panel of the Layers palette or choose Create a new layer from the Layer menu (see Figure 19-4).

3. Set up the background. When creating a standard document, you can use the Background layer to design the background. Fill the Background layer with an image, a color, or a gradient. You can use black for a solid background, a white or transparent background for a gradient, or add color to a background gradient by using one of the many color palettes in the palette. You can also add noise to the background. Noise is fine details that might occur in a picture. It’s used to add a little more texture and realism to a photo. Figure 19-4 shows the Background layer with a dashed-line background and a texture background.

4. Start working on the image. When you’re ready, you can start working with the image. You can add text, some basic line work, and a few other basic elements. Figure 19-4 shows a simple image with three circles and one of the text layers. You can see that I added simple lines around the circles using the Text tool and added a few dots using the Ellipse tool. You can also add other layers to an image as a backdrop. For example

Similar issue in Data Annotations MVC

In my application I used the client side for validation and MVC 4 Data annotations.
I am having a similar scenario where the user is booking for a trip and if he selects a trip with less seats than the number of persons he/she is booking with, I would like to display “The number of seats are not sufficient to make this booking” with out doing a full revalidation request
I found there is some limitation on the client side data annotation
Is there a way to achieve this on the MVC data annotations side?

Based on the documentation at what you can do is to use custom validation, adding your own logic to handle the case when the person tries to book with less seats than the quantity selected.
In general, the way it’s done for client-side validation is to make a call to the server that returns some kind of additional information about the current state of the booking. This means that you don’t have to have a Request.IsAuthenticated or similar call in order to do your checks. But you might find that the server-side way is simpler.

How to combine 2 promises with different results?

I have multiple promises that are resolved from a file. Once all these promises are resolved, I need to change some settings of a Vue object that exists on the root scope.
I’m having trouble combining these promises in the correct way. In this example, I have 2 promises – one is a promise from an Http get and the other is from my file.
This is what the code looks like:
loadSettings(): Promise {
const deferred = new Promise(resolve => {
setTimeout(() => {
// resolve promise
}, 3000);

// This promise should resolve before the previous one
this.fileAsync(configs => {
// Since this is async, return a promise
deferred.then(() => {
// Resolve this promise

Quantum Dynamics Study on the Energy Transfer Dynamics from the Soret Band to the Q Band in the Green Fluorescent Protein Chromophore.
Ultrafast energy transfer dynamics from the “Soret” (approximately 400 nm) to the “Q” (approximately 540 nm) band of the green fluorescent protein chromophore (FP) is investigated using time-resolved femtosecond transient absorption (fs-TA). In the fs-TA of the complex with the nonpolar cosolvent (DMSO), the decay of the “Q” band is initiated at approximately 10 fs, with a Fermi-golden-rule-limited time constant of approximately 160 fs. The large lifetime leads to the observation of a much larger charge-transfer process than that in the aqueous solvent. By separating the complex into the individual species of the protein and the solute, the nature of the key low-frequency vibrational modes is evaluated. It is clarified that the fine-tuning of the H-bond network controls the fast decay in the “Q” band. The H-bond enhancement in the Soret band decreases the nonradiative rate of the energy transfer, resulting in the short time scale of the experimental results.Q:

Solve system of first order differential equations with Mathematica

I need some help with Mathematica.
My problem is to reduce differential equations from system like this:
P(x,t)=0,\forall t

I tried this code:
polyn = {x, y};
sol1 = {D[polyn, t], D[polyn, {t, 2}], D[polyn, {t, 2}]}
sol2 = {polyn, D[polyn, t]}
sol = Table[{sol1, sol2, t} /. {t -> t, x -> x, y -> y}, {x, 0, 20, 10}, {y, 0, 20, 10}] rules1 = {D[sol[[
